In addition, the body of the gadget is made of shock-resistant plastic using ProtectPlus technology. In general, product reliability has been improved.

Bright status LEDs on the holder and on the case: in early models, it was necessary to cover the device with your hand on the street, now this is not necessary.

Advanced battery: 20% faster charging of the holder between sessions. And the battery charging time increased by 2 times - up to almost 15000 cycles. Again, all of these indicators have been improved over the first version of the IQOS.

New "cleaner": a new cleaning device and a set of 10 special cotton swabs for cleaning are now included in the box for the device. Also, for example, at the moment the manufacturer offers a free cover when purchasing the IQOS 2.4 Plus starter kit.

A Bluetooth module was built into IQOS 2.4 Plus and you can connect it to your smartphone to receive notifications about the status of the gadget, check its status and reboot the device. Not that it is critically necessary, but there is such a possibility. All following IQOS models also have this feature by default.

IQOS 3

The third IQOS came out last year and received a serious redesign - it was improved both externally and constructively. Almost everything was changed.

New design and magnet cover instead of a latch. In this gadget, instead of a latch top cover design, for the first time, a simple yet reliable side slider principle with a pocket has been applied. In IQOS 3, the case opens with a simple click, giving access to the holder, which also received a new, up-to-date design. In addition, you can now insert the holder into the case as you like, with the charging connector down, of course.

Type-C port: the manufacturer abandoned the old micro USB in favor of a more modern USB Type-C, into which the plug can be inserted either side.

Accelerated charging: LEDs on the case and holders have become even brighter, the charging time of the holder has been reduced by another 15% and is three and a half minutes. In addition, the electronics and the battery have been improved.

In addition, IQOS 3 was presented in new original colors. While the previous version of the gadget was only black and white, and the appearance could only be changed by covers and changing the holder cap, in the third generation 2 new colors were added - gold and blue. That is, the colors have become 4. In addition, the manufacturer has implemented a replaceable side panel with magnets and offers as many as 12 options for overlays of various colors. Add 12 more cap colors to this and you have tons of options to customize your device and express yourself.

New covers have also been added, there are many of them - silicone, leather and textile models in various colors and they are stylish and cool.

At the moment, when buying a device, you can get a replacement cover for the case of any color to choose from.

IQOS MULTI

In parallel with IQOS 3, another model was presented in 2018 - IQOS MULTI. The main feature of this device is its compactness and continuous use without recharging between sessions.

The gadget consists of only one element - a holder for the sticks and does not need a separate charger. Inside the device is a small battery designed for 10 sessions in a row.

IQOS 3 DUO

The newest model of the gadget for heating tobacco presented recently - IQOS 3 DUO. Outwardly, the duo is exactly the same as the triple. Well, perhaps there were one more indicator lights, and a new color was added - copper.

This time, all the major changes are inside! You can distinguish this model externally only by the presence of 2 LEDs on the charger body and on the holder.

Yes, the new ICOS can now be used 2 times without recharging the holder! Why it is necessary and whether it is necessary at all - of course, you decide.

But that is not all! Most importantly, charging has become smart. It now takes into account the holder's charge left after the previous session. If you use the stick in less than the calculated 6 minutes, then the charging time of the holder between sessions can be reduced to a record 10-15 seconds.

And a fully discharged IQOS 3 DUO holder, according to official data, charges up to the first session in about 2 minutes. In addition, this smart charging saves the overall battery life by preventing overcharging. By the way, an NFC chip was built into the case for a quick connection with a smartphone.

IQOS 2.4 Plus is a classic IQOS, the most affordable in the line, but still relevant, and even with a Bluetooth module and support for an application on a smartphone. The right choice for budget: conscious buyers and those who choose their first IQOS and still doubt whether the gadget will fit at all.

IQOS 3 - reliable construction, modern design with the possibility of customization, improved comfort of use and faster charging of the holder. Apparently, this model is going to be discontinued shortly after the launch of the  new IQOS 3 DUO.

And finally, the newest IQOS 3 DUO, in which we have all the advantages of a triple, plus 2 sessions without recharging and an improved power supply system, which reduces the charging of the holder, extends the battery life and overall battery life.
